What is Rebarcover
Rebar Covers are an alternative safety device used on construction sites to guard against injuries and impalements that could occur around exposed steel rebar. The Rebar Cover is available up to 12ft but is most cost effective when purchased in 8ft lengths.
Rebarcover Results
After using the Rebar Covers the results have shown the following:-
Straighter alignment of the bars.
Safe & economical application.
Can be used limitless times.
Works vertically & horizontally from 3/8 to 7/8 bars.
Strong - made from 20ga Galvanized iron. G90, ASTM A526.
Ease of pouring - the spring action of the configuration bites onto the bar deformations and does not get knocked off by the concrete pump line or concrete bucket chute.
Complies with O.S.H.A. 29CFR 1926.701(b).
The Rebar Covers are also available in 14ga Galvanised iron for use in California, USA.
Operation and Maintenance
Rebar Cover is designed for use where two or more vertical or horizontal bars are situated in a straight line.
It can be cut on site to suit different applications.
Never use Rebar Cover in such a way that more than 25% of the covers length extends past the end bar under a single cover.
